Dead white guys theory- Negative approach to high culture. It challenges it by the fact that it is classed as high culture and valued by white European men.

We also spoke in more detail about Sub cultures or alternative cultures and why many people have negative things to say about it. Possibly because it is not the 'norm' or because of their rituals etc. They all have codes and practices and different greetings/language.
Well done Abbi. You are keeping on top of posting your comments about what you have learnt. You need to spend a little time linking any theories to the points we have discussed in class. I am much more interested in what you think about culture and identity and so one. However, you are clearly engaging with the course and making a good start! Well done Abbi.
